Considering a Bear Happy Hour at the new DC Eagle
We are considering a Bear Happy Hour at the new DC Eagle at least once a month on the 4th Friday of the month. Visit the Facebook page to add your comment.
The new Eagle has a huge building, but BHH would occupy the pub space that holds about 150 people. We would have access to the outdoor patio on the floor above, but there is a way to open up an outdoor space on the pub floor too. Eventually The Eagle will have a restaurant, a nightclub space upstairs (“The Exile”), and separate cigar bar.
About the map: This is a map to show the location and compare the walk from the Metro station to the new Eagle as opposed to the old Eagle. According to Google the new Eagle is roughly a 7 minute walk from the Metro, only a three minute walk farther. For those of you driving, it’s located right off Interstate 295 (Anacostia Freeway) for easy access. It’s also accessible by the X2, X1, & X9 buses, and will be on the streetcar line. It is down the street from Rock & Roll Hotel (blue pin on the map). Click on the map for full size.
Thanks for your input, which is really very important in making these things happen. It’s only because we come together for Bear events like this that we are able to negotiate a space and happy hour prices.
